So I’d like to share with you our collection of Claire Pettibone gowns and the reasons why we think you’ll love each and every one of them!

Mystere by Claire Pettibone

Mystere is probably the signature gown of the Claire Pettibone brand.  The ribbon edge lace gives a lovely texture and the rose and platinum is delicate hint of colour.

The dress doesn’t end there, the rear of the gown gives the illusion of a backless style, but in fact is delicately covered with a layer of embroidered tulle and its finishes with that gorgeous rose….

That Fabulous Flower Detail!

Kristene is our next dress in the collection.  Made from a charming Victorian embroidery with a silk charmeuse lining that shines through.  The sweetheart neckline at the front is hugely flattering and the cap sleeve just so wearable.

As with all Claire Pettibone gowns it doesn’t end there, the back is just divine, with a sheer panel at the shoulders which shows the elegance of the embroidery.

For a relaxed, country and vintage inspired wedding you need look no further than Yolanda.  A beautiful cotton lace, finished again with a lovely rose (of which the colour can be changed if you wish).  This dress is enchantingly soft and delicate to wear.

Willow is another gorgeously soft wedding gown.  With vanilla and ivory flower applique detail on transparent tulle at both the front and back neckline, this dress has the feel of wandering through the english countryside on a sunny day!

Hayworth from Stephanie Allin's Jazz Age Collection

Hayworth is a dream of a gown with sequins flowing deliciously down from the corset all the way through to the tulle skirt.  A delicate line of pearls, sequins & crystals sits at the waist to give definition to Stephanie Allin’s fabulous signature corsetry.

Hayworth can be teamed with a tulle cap sleeve jacket, also from the Jazz Age collection, to give shoulder coverage for the ceremony if you wish.

The dress was perfection down to every last detail…the lace applique, delicately embroidered by skilled hands, the architectural signature McQueen bustle and padding to shape the hip and the subtly sexy sweetheart neckline made demure with lace overlay to the wrist.

Lace                                                                                                                                                   At Exquisite, we adore the romance of Lace and aim to keep a wide selection of lace styles for our brides.  Corded lace, chantilly lace, french levers lace, delicately beaded lace is in abundance at our luxury boutique, so do come along and see us to discuss how you would like lace to feature in your gown.

A structured corset gives you great posture on your day and also cinches in the waist to give you a wonderful silhouette.  Most recently brides have moved away from strapless, however you can still wear this sexy style and cover the shoulders with lace or tulle to soften the look.  We also have a divine crystal belt to add that finishing touch to your bridal evening look.

Exquisite will shortly be receiving a stunning replica veil.  Made from soft silk tulle and edged in lace, our royal wedding style veil will hang like a beaufitul vintage style cloud around you.  It looks like Tiara’s will be back too and so we’ll have a full selection available later this month.

Moreover on Thursday 10th March we launched our new concept of the Luxury Wedding Showcase.  Alongside Carrie of Carrie Bugg Photography and Hannah from Sweet Dream Event Styling and Sweet Bars we created an informal & insightful evening of wedding style inspiration..an event aimed to allow brides to gain advice on how to style their wedding from local industry experts in a one to one environment..

We thoroughly enjoyed meeting all the brides who attended and advising them on all styling aspects of their wedding from the wedding dress, to hair accessories, jewellery, photography, event styling and hair & make-up.  We hope you enjoyed your luxury goodie bags too!!

Its wonderful to reflect on how Exquisite has grown over the last year.  We have had the opportunity to meet some wonderful brides, both local and from further affield and I have enjoyed every moment of dressing those brides for their special day.

I started Exquisite after working in luxury retail at Harvey Nichols for 10 years.  And what an amazing time that was – dressing our London clients and celebrities and always offering customer service that reaches beyond expectations.  When becoming a bride to be myself I was inspired to open Exquisite when I saw the Sarah Houston collection. Now one of our most popular designers the Sarah Houston collection continues to appeal to brides and as her exclusive stockist in the South of England (including London) we have brides travelling from all over the UK and Ireland to try her range.
