As the soon to be Princess emerged in front of Westminster Abbey millions of people around the globe gasped with pleasure!  In choosing Sarah Burton of Alexander McQueen it was apparent that Catherine had made the right choice.

The dress was perfection down to every last detail…the lace applique, delicately embroidered by skilled hands, the architectural signature McQueen bustle and padding to shape the hip and the subtly sexy sweetheart neckline made demure with lace overlay to the wrist.

Lace                                                                                                                                                   At Exquisite, we adore the romance of Lace and aim to keep a wide selection of lace styles for our brides.  Corded lace, chantilly lace, french levers lace, delicately beaded lace is in abundance at our luxury boutique, so do come along and see us to discuss how you would like lace to feature in your gown.

A structured corset gives you great posture on your day and also cinches in the waist to give you a wonderful silhouette.  Most recently brides have moved away from strapless, however you can still wear this sexy style and cover the shoulders with lace or tulle to soften the look.  We also have a divine crystal belt to add that finishing touch to your bridal evening look.

Exquisite will shortly be receiving a stunning replica veil.  Made from soft silk tulle and edged in lace, our royal wedding style veil will hang like a beaufitul vintage style cloud around you.  It looks like Tiara’s will be back too and so we’ll have a full selection available later this month.

Moreover on Thursday 10th March we launched our new concept of the Luxury Wedding Showcase.  Alongside Carrie of Carrie Bugg Photography and Hannah from Sweet Dream Event Styling and Sweet Bars we created an informal & insightful evening of wedding style inspiration..an event aimed to allow brides to gain advice on how to style their wedding from local industry experts in a one to one environment..

The evening was a great success as guests enjoyed a glass or two of sparkle along with some sweet nibbles from Hannah. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting all the brides who attended and advising them on all styling aspects of their wedding from the wedding dress, to hair accessories, jewellery, photography, event styling and hair & make-up.  We hope you enjoyed your luxury goodie bags too!!
